The following may be useful. I love the cot I purchased from you. However, When I am working 18 to 20 hour days here in Afghanistan, I was not putting the end pieces on as I just wanted to go to sleep. (I am putting them on now) When I didn't put them on the stitching between the middle piece and the edge railing piece began coming undone. With the end pieces on of course there is no problem. Just something to think about that may be helpful if you have other users with similar situations. Sincerely, David

This must be the Edsel of camping cots! I purchased this cot because of its highly touted super strength (tested to 1400lbs the ad says). Well, the gusset connecting the two middle legs failed the 2nd time it was used resulting in nasty product failure at 2am. The entire gusset system seems to be undersized, the metal thickness on these is the same as my wife\'s cot designed to hold 300lbs. I\'m not sure who, or on what planet this cot was tested to 1400lbs but I do Know that I weigh 300lbs and it certainly didn\'t pass my muster. Think hard about purchasing this cot because at 2am when it fails to perform as it should you\'ll be sleeping on the ground!
